When I retired at the end of July, I promised myself I'd get better organised as far as my photographic life is concerned. It's taken full month to get round to it, but today's the day!
Up to now, my post-processing workflow been somewhat hit and miss, to say the least! So, mindful that I'm already taking far more photos than when I was working, an upgrade to Lightroom 5 seemed like a good idea. Despite horror stories of the upgrade process being a nightmare, it went smoothly from start to finish. OK, so the whole thing took an hour or so, but who cares! Now, all I have to do is learn the software thoroughly, which I've never done since I first started using it a couple of years ago. I shall keep using Photoshop 5.5 for certain operations, but I think Lightroom is the way forward.
