Lectures, Talks and Judging
Currently, I offer 3 print talks to Clubs, Societies etc Each lasts for approximately 2 hours, including a tea-break of about 20 minutes. I do not do PDI talks, other than in exceptional circumstances. With effect from July 2014, paper used for all lectures which feature digitally produced prints will be supported by PermaJet
In addition, at my discretion, I offer a free mentoring service at my home near Canterbury in Kent for both RPS (Licentiate and ARPS/FRPS Pictorial categories) and PAGB (up to MPAGB) distinctions. In the first instance, and for more information, contact me via the contacts page on this site. Alternatively, my telephone number and email address are published in the PAGB Handbook.
'As I See It' - a retrospective of my favourite photographic endeavours over the past 25 years or so. Silver and digital prints. Flexible content!
'Back to the Future' - a return to my roots. Documenting my return to almost 100% monochrome, concentrating on paper selection and print quality. Supported by PermaJet. It had to happen!
'Choices' - an evening of decisions and comparisons. Monochrome or colour? Which paper to choose?

How to make a booking
In the first instance, and for more information, contact me via the contacts page on this site. Alternatively, my telephone number and email address are published in the PAGB Handbook.
I have been judging photographic work of most genre for over 20 years and was elected to the judge list of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain(PAGB) over 10 years ago. I'm also a Premier Judge for the Kent County Photographers Association(KCPA). My experience encompasses engagements at club, federation, national and international levels.
I charge expenses at the prevailing PAGB rate plus a small charge towards the cost of an en route meal when distance means I can't eat at home. For evening bookings, overnight accommodation may be required where my round trip journey exceeds 150-200 miles.
